In Haggai 1:12-15, we see the people of God respond to His Word with obedience and reverence. After making excuses in the first part of the chapter, they now listen, obey, and return to the work God had given them.
God reassures them with the promise, “I am with you,” and stirs their hearts to action.
This passage challenges us to consider how we respond when God speaks. We don't simply need to hear God's Word. We need to obey it.
